Center-invest Bank took part in the public discussion "Creative Industries in the Rostov Region" organized by the Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, Entrepreneurship, Investment and Foreign Economic Relations of the Legislative Assembly of Rostov Region.

The participants of the event discussed the draft regional law "On the Powers of State Authorities of the Rostov Region in the Field of Creative Industries" and approaches to the development of the creative sector of the economy.

Center-invest Bank voiced its position supported by 30 years of experience and presented in The Creative Don monograph by Vasily Vysokov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank, Professor, Doctor of Economics.

Every Don land inhabitant is a creative person, and the Don land is already a real creative cluster for all kinds of activities, shaped by centuries-old Cossack traditions and the region’s culture. Artificial prioritization of individual creative industries limits down the opportunities and potential for the economic development of the region and contradicts the very idea of a creative approach.

Regional legislation should create conditions for the development of creative space and support, in particular, creative initiatives of young people and "self-reliance activity". The bank uses this new term to define young, promising, talented creators who have not yet found their business model.

The Government and the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov Region should focus on the creative advantages of the region, find a way to fully present the creative component of the Don business and the Don flair in order to comprehensively and unconventionally develop the Don creative cluster.
