On June 26, Center-invest Bank, together with the Government of the Rostov Region and the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics, organized the conference "Information Security Transformation: Modern Challenges".
The conference was devoted to current threats in the field of cybersecurity caused by modern technological trends, and brought together representatives of government agencies, regulatory experts, IT managers, and heads and specialists of information security services of government and commercial organizations.
The conference was opened by Artem Khokhlov, Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region, Sergey Erokhin, Rector of the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics, Yuri Bogdanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center-invest Bank, Nikolay Shakhov, Head of the First Department of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control of Russia for the Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts.
"In the context of complex integration of digital, financial and government services in public communication channels, it is necessary to work on information security together, as threats spread to everyone at the same time. This conference is the first in a series of joint initiatives by Center-invest Bank, the Government of the Rostov Region and the University of Communications dedicated to joint information protection. We are confident that the event will become a platform for sharing experiences, exploring new solutions and technologies, as well as for establishing useful business contacts in the field of information security", Yuri Bogdanov emphasized in his opening remarks to the participants.
Experts and participants discussed the impact of new technologies on data and infrastructure security. Key topics included issues related to the human factor, the need to raise employee awareness and implement effective protection strategies, as well as practical cases and innovative approaches to data protection and incident response that will help participants adapt to a rapidly changing threat environment.
