Ministry of Finance Recognised Center-invest Bank’s Financial Literacy Project as One of the Best in the Country.

2025年09月19日

Center-invest Bank’s social and educational project to develop financial literacy in Russian Sign Language has been included in the Ministry of Finance’s 2025 catalogue of best regional practices in financial literacy and financial culture.

The Catalogue of Best Practices is a unified database of regional financial education developments, allowing constituent entities of the Russian Federation to share experiences and replicate successful cases. This year, the catalogue included 156 initiatives from 81 regions.

The bank’s Financial Literacy in Russian Sign Language project has been integrated into the work of the Krasnodar branch of the All-Russian Society of the Deaf and the School for the Deaf as part of a social partnership. The project has repeatedly received high praise from the Ministry of Finance, as it helps people with hearing impairments learn new financial terms and how to ensure financial security and well-being for themselves and their families.

"Deaf and hearing-impaired people have a pressing need for trust, and projects like these help them find a reliable financial advisor and avoid falling victim to scams. I am very pleased to be a regular participant in educational events both as a volunteer and as an employee of Center-invest Bank," comments Ekaterina Malta, Assistant Director of Public Relations at Center-invest Bank’s Krasnodar branch.

The bank actively supports non-profit projects to develop financial culture. For over 10 years, the bank has been implementing a free social and educational project, the Financial Literacy Center, where schoolchildren, students, entrepreneurs, and pensioners can undergo training. Today, six Financial Literacy Centers operate permanently in the south of Russia. More than 2 million people have become students of the Centers.

The bank’s responsible attitude towards society is reflected by an ESG-2 (AA+) rating from the ACRA rating agency with a stable outlook, confirmed in May 2025, which is the highest assessment level on the ACRA scale. The bank is also included in the TOP-10 ESG rating of Russian banks according to the RAEX ranking.
